AdvanceNC Featured in Workforce Insights

We were proud to have two of our workforce leaders, Margaret Roberton and Erin Blakeley, represent AdvanceNC in the latest episode of the Workforce Insights webinar series hosted by Marty Lessmann of Workforce Connect.

The episode, titled “Strengthening Workforce Partnerships,” highlighted how AdvanceNC is working to close North Carolina’s workforce gaps—especially in the advanced manufacturing sector—through collaboration, innovation, and customized training.

What We Shared

During the session, Margaret and Erin discussed how AdvanceNC has built a 20+ partner workforce consortium to better align training programs with the real needs of employers. This regional approach allows us to not only respond quickly to industry shifts but also create long-term, sustainable talent pipelines across the state.

We also shared real success stories from the field, demonstrating the impact of tailored training solutions and cross-sector partnerships in helping workers land high-demand jobs in advanced manufacturing.

Most importantly, the conversation focused on what’s next—how we can continue to scale partnerships and stay ahead of emerging workforce needs.
