What You Learn

The Foundations of HVAC: System Maintenance, Repair & Diagnostics micro-pathway helps you build the skills needed to perform core HVAC maintenance, repair, and diagnostic tasks for residential and light commercial systems. You will develop skills in equipment repairs and replacements, system maintenance and efficiency, basic mechanical overhauls, refrigerant management concepts, and system troubleshooting while applying safety, compliance, and critical thinking practices.

This pathway supports progression into entry-level HVAC technician work and can count toward the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology associate degree at your local community college.
