The Foundations of HVAC: Components & Safety micro-pathway helps you build the foundational skills needed to start a career in HVAC. You will learn the basic concepts behind HVAC system repairs, gain an understanding of common equipment components, electrical controls, and refrigeration fundamentals, and practice standard repair methods alongside safety procedures and clean, organized work practices.
This pathway supports progression into Level 2 of the HVAC micro-pathway sequence and can count toward the Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology associate degree at your local community college.
