North Carolina A&T Launches State’s First Standalone Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (N.C. A&T) has received approval from the UNC System Board of Governors for the state’s first standalone Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence (AI). This groundbreaking program, set to launch in Fall 2025, will offer two concentrations: Advanced AI Systems through the College of Engineering and Applied AI through the College of Science and Technology. The program aims to equip students with the knowledge and skills to meet the growing demand for AI professionals, with real-world applications in industries like healthcare, finance, and transportation. A&T’s AI graduates will be poised to play a key role in shaping the future of this transformative technology.
